Project Description
Art Technology and Science an Israeli Perspective, Done with The Israel Culture Center, St. Petersburg
“Art, Science and Technology – an Israeli perspective”, at Erarta Museum of Contemporary Art, St. Petersburg, is the second exhibition dedicated to New Media Art from Israel. The exhibition displays artwork created in Israel by artists from the fields of science and technology following an exhibition in Kiev, 2014.
As in the exhibition shown in Kiev, the works all are media based dealing with the fields of robotics, surveillance technologies, video mapping, brain research, information technology and artificial intelligence. The works look at alternative models of interaction and new ways of perception, while others explore a new aesthetic language through critical thinking and questioning our new realities.
