Project Description
The museum of the Ghetto Fighters’ House, displays a booth of wood and glass, in which Adolf Eichmann sat while on trial in Jerusalem. This glass booth is an historical artifact and was itself an element in the judicial proceedings. The installation tells the story of Eichmann’s being brought to trial in Jerusalem, the trial itself, and his execution for crimes against humanity in general and the Jewish People in particular.
we chose to place sound of the witness, opposing the booth and to create a space to discuss and dibate on the idea of what the trial represents in the past and in the future.
