A seven screen sinced video installation taking place in the backyards of the ‘white city’ neighborhoods of Tel Aviv. In this common space, typical to residential buildings, the left over back yards are the places where we usually do the more intimate and private acts. At these spaces, the windows expose very private parts of a home outward, placing unknown neighbors in very close proximity.
What turns a building into a home? Through this work we examine the notion of home in cities.
‘Window’ was first initiated at the exhibition Home.Building in Liebling Haus Tel Aviv as part of an artist in residence program between Liebling Haus and the Environment and Sustainability Authority.
